Day 2
Lee Vining, CA to Caliente, NV
Bob and Patti Meneely took us down a highway with lots of woop-dee-doos. The reception on our CB was less than perfect and we heard parts of a conversation and discussion about the road.
Our stop in Benton provided a meeting with a group of Olympic cross country skiers beginning a training run.
We just happened to pass an area with mirrors lined up to reflect light back to this center to make electricity? This was another first. We’ve heard of it but never seen it.

Our next stop was the A Lee Inn in Rachel, NV. Yep just outside of Area 51.
We never stop having fun. It was a great break and many members had pie. We enjoyed a cup of coffee.
Busted!
We finally arrived in Caliente, NV after a 333 mile drive.
