2019 KANAB ADVENTURE
Day 1San Jose, CA to Lee Vining, CA
Eight Model A’s climbed up Tioga Pass and safely arrived in Lee Vining.
It was cold that night. Our room was right on Highway 395. Every rig that speeded by blew cold air under our front door and turned on the heater. Oh, I’m grateful for the heater. And every time a truck sped by I thought about the Beaman’s sleeping in their motor home just outside our door. It couldn’t be very restful.

The new radiator hoses didn’t last long. Thanks to the Kafers for loaning us an upper hose we were back on the road after a quick swap. Mark changed the lower hose at the hotel in Lee Vining.
Epic failure. New hoses lasted 200 miles.
